Description
Piet Mondrian was famous for his abstract painting using straight lines blocks of primary colors arranged in balanced way. My images in this series were inspired by Mondrian but have some critical differences - Mondrian abhorred nature hence the use of solid primary colors and straight lines. As I love nature and abstraction, my images all have wood tones and many have curves and a flow that mimic the randomness of nature's shapes. These images were created from photos of wooden blocks that have been digitally manipulated to create the final outcome. They are striking as wall art, but also are great on the products I offer here.
