Product Details

The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.

The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall.   This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.

Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

Artist's Description

This is one in a series of abstracts that I had been thinking about for a very long time before ever creating the first one. My technique is to take colored plastic newspaper delivery bags, arrange them and light them in a specific design I have in mind. I use a very slow shutter speed and change my focal length as I shoot. I finish the image in post processing by adjusting saturation of each individual color and bringing the highlights and shadows either up or down until I get an image that I like. My final step is to add one or more filters to give each piece a textured finish. My intent is to create a pleasing abstract image that evokes reality, but looks nothing like a photograph.

About Ira Marcus

Ira Marcus

The origin of my name means watchful or observant. I always thought that was appropriate for someone who likes to make images from what he sees. I started with photography when I was about 11 years old after receiving a hand-me-down Brownie box camera. My approach toward photography is to stop and smell the roses. It is a simplistic adage, but rings true to how I create images. I slow down and stop to see beauty in everyday objects and the natural world, and use the magic of photography to share my vision with others. While I don't expect others to necessarily see the same thing that I saw while making my photographs, my goal is that my images will evoke a special feeling, mood, or emotion for the viewer. Thank you for looking at my work....
