Description
As this yellow warbler was flitting from branch to branch in this fully blossoming apple tree, the blossoms made a perfect frame for him. This shot was taken on May 10th at the Hawthorne Hill Nature Center in Elgin, Illinois, USA. On this beautiful spring day there were many many varieties of warblers and other songbirds that made a brief stop on their migration north. I was fortunate to see, listen to and photograph several of them.
