Art in Artifacts - Where History Meets Art - Elgin History Museum Wall Art

The initial images in this collection were made exclusively for the exhibit, "Art in Artifacts - Where History Meets Art", at the Elgin History Museum in Elgin Illinois, running June 2020 through May 2021. Since the end of the exhibit I have been adding images to this collection that are made in the vein of the original exhibit images. For several years as a volunteer, I have been photographing archived artifacts for the museum's on-line catalog. The artifacts are quite varied and tell the story of a time, person, place, or event in Elgin history. Those photos are strictly "record" shots.
